about homebirth and midwifery to your community:

Ask your local library to order
Motherbaby Press books
and Midwifery Today magazine.

Here’s how:

  1. Buy an extra copy (or two) to donate to your local library.
  2. Request a book for your library online—it’s easy!: First, check to see if the title is in the library online catalogue. If it is not, look in the left hand column or at the bottom of the page for a link such as “Submit a Title,” “Suggest a Title,” or “Recommend a Book.”
  3. Or, visit your local library and ask the librarian about requesting a new title. Most libraries love to be able to provide an educational resource that its patrons want.

When you request your library to acquire a book, be sure to have the book’s basic information handy:

  • Title
  • Author

  • Year published
  • Publisher

  • ISBN #
  • Price
