Midwifery Today Return Policy
What is the return policy?
The return policy varies by product type.
- Audio—Audio tapes and CDs are non-refundable. Occasionally audio tapes have technical problems that we are not aware of because the sound is spot-checked for problems. You may exchange audio tapes with technical problems for another title or for credit toward another purchase within 120 days of purchase. Audio tapes or CDs sold in packages such as the Beginning Midwives Package, Doula Tape Package or Clinical Tape Package have been reviewed for sound quality and are unlikely to have technical problems.
- Video—Video tapes and DVDs are non-refundable once they have been opened. Unopened video products may be returned for an exchange or refund within 60 days of purchase. Videos or DVDs in unsealed cases (i.e., not shrink-wrapped) may be returned if they have not been viewed. Defective videos may be returned for an exchange or a refund within 90 days of purchase.
- Subscriptions—Subscriptions are non-refundable. See below.
- All other products (books, back issues, clothing and accessories, birth art, jewelry)—You may return these items for an exchange or refund within 60 days of purchase if they are in salable condition.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time for a refund?
Subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel you may receive credit toward another purchase or transfer your subscription to another person.
Please be aware that there are graphic depictions of childbirth in Midwifery Today publications. You may not want to subscribe if explicit photographs of the human body offend you.

How do I return a purchase?

Midwifery Today will retain the shipping and handling fee on returns unless an item was defective or sent in error. You will receive credit or reimbursement for the cost of return shipping on defective items or those sent in error.
