Diana Paul

Diana Paul gave birth to all three of her children at home. Her husband was “midwife” for the first two and Peggy Vincent for the third. She practiced as a lay midwife for about 10 years and then picked up her camera, filmed births and eventually started the non-profit LOVE DELIVERS. For several years, Diana produced the Motherbaby International Film Festival. Her films, which are still on the market, include Birth Day, Miss Margaret, Five Countries, Six Births, Seven Babies, and Homebirth. Diana and Love Delivers are currently working on their next film – Nia. It stars a multi-talented, homebirthed teen of the same name – which means Purpose in Swahili.
