Joy Horner

Joy Horner has been a nurse since 1987 and then trained as a midwife. She left midwifery in 1990 and returned in 2002 after having two babies, becoming an independent midwife in 2005. Her expertise is in breech birth. She was trained by and taught breech workshops with Mary Cronk. Joy specializes in helping families achieve healing births after previous trauma. She is a birth activist and runs pregnancy and baby groups in her hometown of Glastonbury, UK. When not working with birthing families, Joy enjoys making hand-built ceramics, attending music festivals and spending time with her family and rescued pets.
